... after a long break just thought of activating my blog again... was just thinking bout what to write because if I continue with the theme of my all previous posts, it is of no use, as even Anna Ji's voice and Baba Ramdev Ji's yoga is not been able to wake up the sleeping parliament, so who the hell am I to bring any change in our political leaders' attitude of filling up their own pockets by emptying ours... anyways lets take a U-turn as I am again heading to previous themes with this, its quite easy also to move into this direction of our sleeping parliament as all our problems start with and conclude at decisions of our political leaders, decisions which are inspired with only their self motives and aspirations... so neither their desires & greed will end up and not this discussion only if I don't change the track.

"U-trun, track" I think I am missing my travel spree desperately, again thanks to our sleeping parliament which has made fuel so costly thus limiting my travel just from home to office and office to home :-) any how with this thought I just went back to my fb and orkut albums which cleared the dirt off the sweet memories of my old travel experiences starting with my last Gangotri Trip, it was just amazing on CH03R 6554, my first car Hyundai Getz, believe me friends its the best car in its segment, turning back to the trip, Ajay called me up to discuss which car he should buy on a Friday night and asked me if i could accompany him to Gangotri on Saturday, and to the best of it I said yes:-D so I went to office in the morning and finished my work by 2:00 PM and started off from Mohali at 2:30, picked up Jimmy from Shahabad at 3:30 and reached Kurukshetra at 4:00 and at 4:30 me, Ajay, Jimmy and Dev Gulati were out on our expedition I would call it and expedition only, as Ajay and Jimmy were non drivers and Gulati Saab raised his hands to driving on that route, waking up the traveler inside me and letting me enjoy the lovely track which was like this

this was the morning view but what happened in the night was even more amazing, I drove whole night through the mountains in the forest area of Uttarakhand crossing, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Chamba, Dharasu, Uttarkashi, Gangnani, Sunagar and Lanka (we were quite astonished to see place with this name in north India). And crossing all these places I was in just one position:

:-) and I was loving it. the sound of Ganga Mayia flowing thousands of feet down was as clear as if it was just running on the road side, so driving whole night we reached Gangotri at 8:00 AM on Sunday, and just a dip in the Holy Ganga made us fresh as if we had a sound sleep and we offered prayer in the temple and clicked some pic as proof too :-)

and we were ready with our backpacks to return home, although the amazing atmosphere there was just not letting us to start off, but I had to join office on Monday just a thought of office removed all goodies and we decided to start back although Jimmy and Gulati were in the mood to stay back (being from business class, they have this much leverage to have a chutti as per their wish :-)

so we decided to leave this amazing landscape in the background there itself and leave for our daily routine

and the best part was when I reached office on Monday morning and told my colleagues about my 1100 kms long weekend all were with just one reply, "we are not amazed because you are made for this only"

hope you all liked my travel spree

now let me introduce you to my friends who accompanied me on the go:
